Brading 10Km
The Brading 10 km is a road race on the Isle of Wight held on 31 May 2026 as part of the Isle of Wight Festival of Running, which runs from 31 May to 7 June 2026. The event is limited to 175 entries and has a minimum age of 15 years.
Entry fees vary by affiliation and booking time. Early bird fees apply until 1 February. Standard and on the day fees are higher and on the day entry may require cash. Transfers, changes between open races and withdrawals are possible via the entry portal subject to the event refund policy. No deferrals are permitted. Refunds are 90 percent up to three months before the race, 50 percent up to two weeks before, and zero less than two weeks before the race.
The race is held under UKA rules. Numbers and timing chips are issued at registration. The official finish time limit is 1 hour 35 minutes and the cutoff may be enforced at the race director’s discretion. The use of in ear and over ear headphones is not permitted; bone conducting headphones are allowed. Dogs are not permitted. Medical information supplied with entries will be shared with the medical provider and handled under GDPR. UKA anti doping rules apply to competing members.
Race headquarters is Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde PO33 4BH. Facilities include changing and shower rooms and refreshments from the bar. Limited free parking is available at the venue.
The course starts on the Smallbrook speedway track, follows Ashey Road, Green Lane and Beaper Shute, then returns via Brading Road and Smallbrook Lane to finish in Smallbrook Stadium. Marker boards are placed at each kilometre and a water station is located at approximately 5 km. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. The route holds SEAA course accuracy certificate 23 083. Medals are awarded to all finishers and prizes are given in overall, age and team categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
