Brading 10km
The Brading 10 km is part of the Isle of Wight Festival of Running, which runs from 31 May to 7 June 2026. The race uses Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde (PO33 4BH) as race headquarters and the course both starts and finishes at the stadium.
The race is scheduled for 31 May 2026. Entry closes on 24 May 2026. The event has an entry limit of 175 and a minimum age of 15 years. Early bird and standard entry fees are published, with separate affiliated and unaffiliated prices; on-the-day entries may be available for cash only. Transfers, withdrawals and refunds follow the organiser’s published policy and deadlines.
Numbers and timing chips are issued at registration on race day. The race is held under UKA rules and carries Race Licence No. 30152. An official finish time limit of 1 hour 35 minutes applies. Anti-doping procedures are applicable to competing UKA members.
The course leaves the Smallbrook speedway track, follows Ashey Road, Green Lane and Beaper Shute, and returns via Brading Road and Smallbrook Lane to finish in the stadium. Marker boards appear at each kilometre and a water station is located at approximately 5 km. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs and holds an SEAA Course Accuracy Certificate (Course 23/083).
Race HQ facilities include changing and shower rooms and refreshments from the bar. For safety, in-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone conducting headphones are allowed. Dogs are not permitted on the course. A souvenir is provided to all finishers and prizes are awarded by overall, age category and team positions.
