Event details
The Brading 10km takes place on 31 May 2026 and is organised by Ryde Harriers. The race distance is 10 km. Online entry opens on 5 October 2025. The entry closing date is 24 May 2026. The event has an entry limit of 175 and a minimum age of 15 years. The race holds Race Licence No. 30152 and is operated under UKA rules.
Entry fees vary by affiliation and timing: early-bird and standard online rates are listed, with higher cash-only rates on the day. Numbers and timing chips are issued at registration. The official finish time limit is 1 hour 35 minutes (15 min/mile pace). Transfers, withdrawals and refunds are possible through the entry portal, subject to the stated refund policy: up to 90% refund up to three months before the race, 50% up to two weeks before, and 0% less than two weeks before.
Course and facilities
The course starts on the Smallbrook speedway track, goes out along Ashey Road/Green Lane/Beaper Shute and returns via Brading Road/Smallbrook Lane to finish in Smallbrook Stadium. Marker boards are placed at each kilometre and a water station is located at approximately 5 km. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs and carries SEAA Course Accuracy Certificate 23/083.
Race HQ is Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde, PO33 4BH. Changing and shower facilities are available and refreshments are served from the bar. Limited free parking is provided at the venue. For safety, in-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone-conducting headphones are allowed. Dogs are not permitted to run. Awards include overall, U20, veteran and team prizes and a souvenir for all finishers. Presentation will take place at the race HQ in the evening.
