Brading 10Km
The Brading 10 km is a measured road race held on 31 May 2026 as part of the Isle of Wight Festival of Running. The race is based at Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde (PO33 4BH). Changing and shower facilities are available at the venue and refreshments are provided from the bar. Limited free parking is available at the venue.
Entry is limited to 175 runners and the minimum age is 15 years. Entry fees are tiered: early bird (until 1 February) and standard entry rates apply, with higher fees for on the day entry. Numbers and timing chips are issued at registration on race day. Transfers, race changes and withdrawals are possible via the entry portal; refunds follow a published scale and there are no deferrals.
The race is held under UKA rules and UKA anti doping procedures apply. The official finish time limit is 1 hour 35 minutes; the cut off may be enforced by the race director. For safety, in ear and over ear headphones are not permitted; bone conducting devices are allowed. Running with dogs is not permitted. Medical information supplied with entries will be provided to the medical team in line with GDPR.
The course starts on the Smallbrook speedway track, follows Ashey Road, Green Lane and Beaper Shute, and returns along Brading Road and Smallbrook Lane to finish in Smallbrook Stadium. Marker boards mark each kilometre and a water station is positioned at about 5 km. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs and holds SEAA Course Accuracy Certificate 23/083.
Awards include overall and age category prizes for men and women, team prizes, and medals for all finishers. Presentation takes place at the race HQ in the evening and uncollected prizes are posted within seven days. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
