Inflatable 5K - Southampton, Hampshire
The Inflatable 5K in Southampton is an outdoor obstacle course event built from giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. The course uses a 2.5 km lap that repeats for longer distances. Participants can run, jog or walk; the event is not timed.
Distances available:
- 2.5k, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
The 5k lap includes thirty inflatable obstacles after the addition of three new obstacles. The route includes five music zones and a midway water station. Facilities and services on the day include event photography, a finisher's medal for every participant, a finish-line goodie bag, medical care, toilets and a clearly marked route. Food and drink vendors will be on site and a free spectators area is provided.
Practical information includes paid parking at the venue and a bag drop service with a fee and size restrictions; all bags are subject to search for safety. Dogs are not allowed. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult with a maximum ratio of three children per adult. Spectators must remain in designated areas.
