- Teddy Bear Kids Run
The 5K is an accurately measured loop on a grassed sports field; completing it twice forms the 10K. The route is mainly flat and open, with grass and gravel paths, some pavement sections, and an incline at the 2/7 km point through Jennetts Park into a lightly wooded area called Tarman’s Copse. Spectator viewing is available for most of the route.
The Teddy Bear Kids Run is two loops of the grassed sports field, includes a running bib and a finisher medal, and is not chip timed. Pushchairs are permitted in the kids run; the 5K and 10K courses are not suitable for wheelchair users and cannot accommodate pushchairs.
Age and entry limits: minimum age 11 for the 5K and 16 for the 10K; the kids run is generally suited to ages 3-10 and children under 7 must be accompanied by a non-paying adult. Event entry is limited to 600 places. Early bird and standard entry fees apply, with some club and group discounts available. On-the-day entries are accepted subject to availability and an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
