Distances
- 5K race, measured loop
- 10K race, two laps of the 5K course

The 5K course is an accurately measured loop that starts and finishes on the grassed sports field. The route is mostly flat and open and passes Peacock Meadows, includes an incline at the 2/7 km point through Jennetts Park and a lightly wooded section known as Tarman’s Copse. Surfaces are mainly grass and gravel with short sections of pavement. The course offers good viewing for spectators and generally wide running lines.
Accessibility notes state the 5K and 10K courses are not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs cannot be accommodated in those races. The Teddy Bear Kids Run is not suitable for wheelchair users but pushchairs are permitted; children under seven must be accompanied by an adult who is not charged.
