Boxing Day Challenge

The Boxing Day Challenge is a 6-hour timed running event held at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club along the River Thames in Egham. Participants can choose distances from 5K up to an ultra marathon, running laps on a flat, multi-terrain 3.28-mile out-and-back course. The 5K and 10K options have designated turn points, with the 10K consisting of two 5K laps.

Runners starting before 8 am must bring a head torch. Facilities include toilets, changing rooms, and an aid station offering drinks and food. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag.

Parking is available nearby for a fee. The event follows UK Athletics rules and is open to runners aged 12 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
