The Boxing Day Challenge is a 6-hour timed running event at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AA. The event is open to a maximum of 100 entrants and has a minimum age of 12 years. Entries close on 25/12/2025. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £28.00 and Non affiliated £30.00.
The course is an out-and-back route of 3.28 miles along the River Thames. A 5k option uses an earlier turn point on the same route, and a 10k is two laps of the 5k route. Participants may run distances from 5k up to ultramarathon distance within the six-hour time limit; the final lap must be started before six hours have elapsed.
Facilities and rules
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the rowing club. There is no official bag drop; bags may be left next to the start/finish line but are unmanned and left at participants' own risk. Parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds and is payable on site. An aid table is provided at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and various food items. The event takes place on a public footpath; participants are asked to be considerate to other path users.

- Age 18-19: 45,000 m
- Age 20 and over: No maximum distance
