About the race
The Boxing Day Challenge, organized by Circuit Running Events Ltd, takes place at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club along the River Thames in Egham. This 6-hour timed event features a flat, multi-terrain out-and-back course of 3.28 miles. Participants can choose distances from 5K to ultra-marathon by completing multiple laps within the time limit.
The event offers aid stations with drinks and food, toilet and changing facilities, and parking at nearby Runnymede Pleasure Grounds (paid). Runners receive a bespoke medal and goody bag upon finishing. The race is licensed by the TRA and follows UK Athletics rules, with age-based distance limits for younger runners.
