Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run 2026
The Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run takes place on 22 March 2026 along Bournemouth's seafront. The event offers multiple distances along the beach and promenade, including:

Entry and race details
The Half Marathon is a fixture in the Dorset Road Race League (4 of 12). The Half Marathon, 10K and 5K are chip timed. Entry fees listed are: Half Marathon £30 (UKA/early) or £32; 10K £24 (UKA/early) or £26; 5K £12; 1K Kids Fun Run £8. Minimum ages on race day are 17 for the Half Marathon, 15 for the 10K, 11 for the 5K, and there is no minimum age for the 1K. Race entries will close by 19 March 2026 or sooner if the event reaches capacity.
Environmental measures and partners
The event aims to reduce single use plastics by using boxed water and paper cups at water stations and canned water at the finish. Recycling drop nets will collect used cups, and finish-area bins will separate cans. T-shirts are delivered in cardboard boxes and medals are grouped in batches to reduce packaging. An online goody bag replaces a physical bag. Participants are advised to use public transport, carshare, walking or cycling; a luggage marquee is provided for stored belongings. Named partners and charities include Vitality, Dorset Mind, Bournemouth Foodbank, Forest Holme Hospice, HealthBus Trust and Hot Radio.
