Event overview
The Boulder Rez race takes place at Boulder Reservoir in Boulder, Colorado on April 11, 2026. The event offers three run distances and a relay option. The Half Marathon course is USAT certified. Registration fees vary by distance and advance-purchase period; prices range from $70–$100 for the Half Marathon, $45–$70 for the 10K, $40–$60 for the 5K, and $40–$70 per person for the Half Marathon relay.
Course and format
- Half Marathon - two loops around the reservoir
- 10K - one loop around the reservoir
- 5K - a different route from the loop
The running course loops around Boulder Reservoir and is mostly on dirt trails. The course is described as flat with about 200 feet of elevation gain. The route provides views of the mountain range to the west. The Half Marathon completes two loops while the 10K completes one loop.
Logistics, awards and extras
Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Boulder and on race day at the Boulder Reservoir parking lot. The event provides a participant shirt and a finisher medal. Results are recorded as accurate, measured, and clearly marked. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers and in age groups: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+.
