Event Overview
The Boulder Dash 5K is a run/walk event held in Cumming, Georgia. It features a Corporate Challenge where local companies can form teams of five or more employees.
Course Details
The 5 km course winds through an active quarry. Participants can see the working quarry face, ancient rock deposits, and large-scale processing equipment. An interactive course map is available online.
Post-Race Festival
After the race, the Martin Marietta Spring Fling takes place at the finish line. The festival includes exhibitor and team tents, food and beverages for purchase, springtime family activities, and the opportunity to view mining equipment. Race awards are presented after all finishers have completed the course.
Registration and Logistics
Registration includes a 5K Run/Walk option. A discounted rate is available for children aged 10 and under. Early packet pickup is available the day before the race at a specified location in Cumming, with race-day pickup also offered.
All parking for participants and spectators is at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. A continuous shuttle service transports people between the parking area and the separate start and finish venues. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
