Boulder Dash 5K Fitness Run/Walk & Corporate Challenge

The Boulder Dash 5K takes place in Cumming, Georgia on April 25, 2026. The event features a 5K course that runs through an active quarry, with views of the working quarry face, ancient rock deposits, and large equipment used to process and move rock.

At the finish area the Martin Marietta Spring Fling hosts exhibitor and team tents, festival activities, food and beverages for purchase, and family activities. The festival area also provides opportunities to view Martin Marietta mining equipment and learn more about the quarry operation.

The event supports local fundraising through sponsor contributions combined with registration fees. Parking is organized at Northside Hospital-Forsyth, and a continuous shuttle loop provides transportation between separate start and finish locations. Packet pick-up is available early on April 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lou Sobh Kia in Cumming, and race day pick-up begins at 7:00 a.m. Kids 10 and under are charged a reduced fee of $15 with the discount applied at checkout.

A Corporate Challenge invites local companies to field teams of five or more employees; teams may coordinate training, fundraising, and team apparel.
