Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K
The Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K is a community 5K run/walk held on October 3, 2026, at Alexander Park, 955 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. It is the fourth annual edition of the event and brings neighbors together to raise awareness about domestic violence and to raise funds for local support services.
The race benefits three partner organizations: Mosaic Georgia, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), and Ahimsa House. Funds raised support free, confidential crisis intervention and advocacy, shelter and safe housing resources, education and outreach, and programs aimed at preventing and breaking cycles of violence. Ahimsa House helps survivors bring their pets to safety through a network of foster homes and boarding facilities.
Event activities include pre-race remarks from partner organizations, a prerace warm up, a post-race awards ceremony, and provisions of hydration and snacks. The event also offers sponsorship opportunities with multiple sponsor levels and in-kind impact contributions such as water or energy bars.
