Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K
The Fourth Annual Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K is a community 5K run and walk held on October 3, 2026 at Alexander Park, 955 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. The event brings neighbors together to raise awareness about domestic violence and to support survivors and prevention efforts. Participation can include walking, jogging, running, cheering, volunteering, or sponsoring.
Funds raised by the race support three local organizations. Mosaic Georgia provides free, confidential support and services for survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Partnership Against Domestic Violence promotes education on the dynamics of domestic violence, encourages healthy relationships among adolescents and young adults, and offers safety and shelter for abused adults and children. Ahimsa House addresses the link between animal cruelty and domestic violence and helps survivors bring pets to safety through a network of foster homes and boarding facilities across Georgia.
Proceeds help sustain crisis intervention and advocacy, shelter and safe housing resources, education and outreach, and survivor support programs that aim to break cycles of violence. The event provides hydration and snacks for participants. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels including Champion at $2000, Advocate at $1000, Inspire at $500, Innovate at $350, Educate at $250, and Impact donations such as water or energy bars, with varying recognition and benefits by level.
