Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K : Lawrenceville, GA
The fourth annual Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K takes place on October 3, 2026 at Alexander Park, 955 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. The event is presented as a community run and walk to raise awareness about domestic violence and to support local service providers.
The course is described as fairly flat and uses park paths and roads. It runs beside the lake and crosses over the dam before returning to the pavilion area where registration is located. There is a restroom along the course. The course is USATF certified and listed as a 2024 Official Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event.
Proceeds and funds from the event support Mosaic Georgia, Partnership Against Domestic Violence PADV, and Ahimsa House. Mosaic Georgia provides free confidential support and services to victims and survivors of rape, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse. PADV focuses on education about domestic violence, healthy dating relationships for young people, and safety and shelter for abused adults and children. Ahimsa House addresses the link between animal cruelty and domestic violence and provides foster and boarding arrangements to keep pets safe.
Entry options include individual and group rates. Individual entry fees are listed at $30 with a later fee of $35. Group pricing for five or more is described with an early rate of $27.50 per person and a later rate of $30. Packet pickup and registration occur on race day at the first pavilion on the left when entering from Scenic Highway. T shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by September 21.
