Boston Mini-Marathon & Festival
The event in Boston, GA includes a certified, professionally timed half marathon and two 5K events. Races start in downtown Boston and run through nearby farmland into October country air. The course is fully paved and has refreshment stands placed every 2.5 miles. Portable toilets are available at miles 2, 5, 7, and 11.
The route features rolling hills that are not extreme, with a final stretch that includes an uphill section. At the finish line each participant receives healthy eats and drinks intended to support recovery. A festival in the downtown area follows the races, with food, drinks, and family-style southern hospitality.
The 5K walk will be timed and the winner will receive a cash prize. Registration opens on 2026-02-02. Posted registration fees are $50.00 for the half marathon and $35.00 for each 5K event.
