About the race
The Geeks vs. Guardians 5K Fun Run is a campus event at the Woodlands Campus of Thomas University on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Thomas University and the Georgia Army National Guard jointly present the run as a community event that highlights campus spirit and friendly competition between teams identified as Geeks and Guardians.
Race registration is tiered by date. Registrants who sign up by September 19 pay $25 and receive a free race T shirt. Registrations from September 20 to September 30 are $25 and do not include a T shirt. Race day registration costs $35 and does not include a T shirt.
An awards ceremony will recognize top finishers later that evening during the Thomas University football game, where awards and team recognition will be presented.
