The event brings together more than 6,000 participants, including runners, joggers, and walkers of various athletic abilities. The race serves as a platform to celebrate health, fitness, and community.
The event features the following distances:
- 10 km
- Kids' Races
The 10 km course is recognized as flat and fast, having produced multiple American records and attracting elite athletes for world-class performances. Participants start on Beacon Street and run through Boston's Back Bay, crossing and following the Charles River. The route offers views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines and the river.
In addition to the main race, the event includes a Festival and Expo. The Kids' Races are offered as free fun runs to encourage healthy living among children, accompanied by activities and nutritious snacks. The event also maintains an official charity program that supports organizations focused on improving the lives of women and children in the local area.
