Born to Run 5K - Walk, Run & Family Fun Day
Born to Run 5K is the sixth annual community 5K and family event taking place in Central Park, Roseville on August 15, 2026. The event raises funds for Women’s Life Care Center to support free pregnancy and parenting education, material support, and financial aid for families in crisis. The fundraising goal is $25,000; to date $4,057.78 has been raised, representing 16 percent of the goal. The event lists 40 participants.
The program includes a race option and a walk option, plus a registration category for kids activities only. On-site activities planned include face painting, balloon art, rock painting, physical fitness challenges, and a bouncy house. Fundraising incentives include a commemorative event T-shirt for those who raise $100, and team shirts for every person on a team when the team raises $200. Donating a box of new diapers qualifies an entrant to be entered to win a $200 Walmart gift card.
