The event offers multiple race options and a virtual series on September 13, 2026 in Boring, Oregon. Distances for in person events include:
- Marathon Boston qualifier distance.
- Half Marathon measured course for finish recognition.
- Constantly Boring 10K road race distance.
- Somewhat Boring 5K short road race.
Races will be officially timed and supported with aid stations along the routes. Participants receive a finisher medal, a Boring tech race shirt, custom bibs, and food and drinks at the finish. Only one finisher medal is issued per person. There is a free kid's mile for children 12 and under; finishers receive a ribbon.
Medals for 2026 will be 3D printed, using logos developed with local school students. The event is entirely volunteer run and operates as a non profit. All proceeds after event costs support Sam Barlow High School Track and Field and Cross Country and the West Orient and Damascus Middle School Track and Field teams. The race also continues a partnership with Sneakers4Good for used running shoes.
