Boots and Brews 5K and Kids' Fun Run
Boots and Brews takes place on May 16, 2026 in downtown Freeport, Maine at 23 Depot St. The event combines a traditional 3.1 mile 5K with a shorter fun run for children, plus non runner barbecue options and post event activities.

All registrants receive access to a lunch cookout. Runners aged 21 and over may use the Finish Line Beer Garden for lunch and a beer. After the runs, attendees can sample beers from local breweries including Brickyard Hollow, Goodfire Brewing, Maine Beer Company, and Mast Landing Brewing.
Fun Run registration includes a meal from Boots and Brews BBQ. Proceeds from the Fun Run are donated to RSU 5 Community Programs on behalf of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce to support program scholarships for local children. Non runner BBQ tickets are offered in a 21 and over option that includes two local beers and a choice of vegetarian or meat meal, and an under 21 option that includes lunch only.
Participants are entered into a bib draw for Freeport prizes and receive access to a digital swag bag with discounts from local businesses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
