RGVLS Boot Run 5K
The RGVLS Boot Run is a community running event held in Mercedes, TX on October 25, 2026. The event includes multiple short races and supports the RGVLS Champs for Champions program. A race map and official results are published as event documents.
Races:
- Boot Run - 5K for ages 11 and over, timed, gender and age divisions
- Kicks Run - 1K for ages 10 and under, timed, gender and age divisions
- Bull Run Fun Run - 1K untimed, no divisions, best pair of boots prize
Registration opens August 1. The event uses tiered entry fees: Early Bird in August, Regular in September, Late in October, a Race Week rate, and onsite Race Day registration. Entry fees increase across these periods for each race category. Registration packages are available for families or groups of four or more and include a per-entry savings.
Age and gender divisions apply to the Boot Run and Kicks Run with standard adult and youth categories. Awards for the Boot Run and Kicks Run include finisher medals and 1st through 3rd place in each division. The Bull Run Fun Run features a prize for best pair of boots.
