Boo! On Broad
Boo! On Broad is a Halloween running event in Statham, Georgia, held on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event includes a short fun run and a distance run/walk that both start on Broad Street and finish in front of the Statham Elementary School gym.
Two race options are offered:
- 1K Fun Run
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
Registration for the races opens April 28, 2026 and closes October 22, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $20 for the 1K and $30 for the 5K. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes; prizes will be awarded for best costumes.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Statham Elementary School and Bear Creek Middle School running clubs. The Statham Elementary club serves fourth and fifth graders and the Bear Creek Middle School club serves sixth through eighth graders. Funds raised are intended to purchase running clothes, apparel, and track and field equipment to support the clubs’ activities and promote healthy lifestyles and confidence among the students.
