Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Race Series
The Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Race Series is a weekly fall running series organized by Anchorage Parks and Recreation. The 2026 season marks the 58th year of the Tuesday Night Races. Each week races are held at a predetermined location around Anchorage and feature three distinct courses set by Parks staff and volunteers. Races typically proceed despite rain, snow, sleet, hail, or wind.
Three league distances are offered:
- 1 to 3 km Munchkin League for kids and kids at heart.
- 3 to 10 km Farm League for recreational runners.
- 4 to 12 km Lightning League for competitive runners.
The 2026 schedule lists specific dates and locations in September and October, including Kincaid Park, Goose Lake, Hilltop Ski Area, Russian Jack North, Service High School, and a Kincaid Park Costume Run and Banquet date.
Registration is available online or on-site. Single-race fees are $2 for youth and $12 online or $15 on-site for adults; a family single-race rate is $30. Season passes are offered at $16 for youth, $45 for adults, and $90 for a family. Awards are determined by points accumulated across races and require registration to be eligible.
