CCYA Bolton Field 5K Run/Walk : Columbus, OH
On October 4, 2026 Capital City Young Aviators (CCYA) hosts the inaugural Bolton Field 5K Run/Walk at Bolton Field runway, 2000 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228. The event includes run and non-run options and supports CCYA’s youth programs.
The 5K is staged on the airport runway and is described as a flat out-and-back course. A separate kids fun run is offered at approximately 200 meters. There are luncheon options for participants and supporters; registration fees vary by option, from $0 to $66.
Capital City Young Aviators’ mission is to provide encouragement, hope and mentoring to local middle and high school students through aviation experiences, organized mentoring and aviation based scholarships. Capital City Aviation (CCA) serves as the flight training partner and is described as a non profit flight training and aircraft rental club that employs FAA certified instructors with hundreds of hours of flight experience. CCA has over 20 years of flight training service in central Ohio, approximately 13 aircraft available and is designated as a Certified Cirrus Training Center.
