CCYA Bolton Field 5K Run/Walk
The inaugural CCYA Bolton Field 5K Run/Walk takes place on the runway at Bolton Field in Columbus, Ohio, at 2000 Norton Rd. The event benefits Capital City Young Aviators and uses a runway setting rather than a typical road or park course.
The main event is a 5K held on a flat, fast out and back course on the Bolton Field runway. A roughly 200 m kids fun run is scheduled to occur before the 5K. The registration fee for the 5K is $40 and the kids fun run is free.

Capital City Young Aviators describes its mission as providing encouragement, hope and mentoring to local middle and high school students through aviation experiences, organized mentoring and aviation based scholarships. Capital City Aviation serves as the flight provider for CCYA; it is a nonprofit flight training and aircraft rental club that focuses on developing safe and proficient pilots, provides student pilot training with FAA certified instructors, operates a rental fleet of aircraft and is identified as a Certified Cirrus Training Center.
