About the race
The Bolt for Baldricks 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for March 28, 2027 at Farmingdale High School in Farmingdale, NY (on Woodward Parkway, between 11th and 9th Avenue). Registration is not yet open; organizers state registration will open ahead of the event and notifications are available when it goes live. A previous edition was held on March 29, 2026 at the same venue.
Amenities listed for the event include T-shirts, water stations every mile, breakfast provided before and after the race, raffle baskets, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for entries completed at least three weeks before the event.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day; participants must know their bib number or use a self-lookup area. Registrants who complete registration within 24 hours of bib pickup are texted their bib number within 90 seconds, and an online bib lookup is available.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top male and female in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Proceeds from the event will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to conquer childhood cancer.
