Bolt for Baldricks 5K Run/Walk
Bolt for Baldricks is a community 5K run/walk held in Farmingdale, NY, at Farmingdale High School on Woodward Parkway between 11th and 9th Avenue. The event lists a late March date on its materials and has held editions in previous years.
Proceeds benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation to support childhood cancer efforts. Amenities for participants have included race t-shirts, on-course water stations every mile, breakfast before and after the event, raffle baskets, live result delivery by text and email, free finish-line photos, and a personalized bib option for registrations completed three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top male and top female overall, and to the top male and top female in age groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
