Bolt for Baldrick's 5K Run/Walk

The Bolt for Baldrick's 5K Run/Walk is a charity sports event held at Farmingdale High School in New York. The event takes place rain or shine, starting and finishing on Woodward Parkway between 11th and 9th Avenue. All proceeds from the race are donated to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to support research for childhood cancer.

Participants can choose from the following registration options:

  • 5K Run/Walk
  • Volunteer and Donate (specifically for Farmingdale students)

The event includes several amenities for participants, such as water stations located at every mile marker and breakfast served both before and after the race. All finishers receive free photos and live results via text or email. Those who register at least three weeks before race day receive a personalized bib with their name printed on it.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers overall. Additionally, the top male and female participants in several age categories are recognized, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 points and above. Beyond the race, attendees can browse raffle baskets featuring items from local businesses to provide additional support for the beneficiary foundation. Friends and family are encouraged to attend to cheer on the runners and walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
