About the race
The BOLDERBoulder is an annual Memorial Day 10K road event in Boulder, Colorado, founded in 1979. The event uses walking, jogging and running waves so participants can complete the full course at their own pace.
Each year the event draws large crowds, with more than 52,000 participants and about 70,000 spectators. The finish line is inside the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field, where the professional race concludes and the Memorial Day Tribute takes place in the stadium.
The race includes an International Pro Team Challenge that attracts male and female professional athletes from outside the area.
