Boise Marathon
The Boise Marathon is a summer running event held in Boise, Idaho. Scheduled for June 20, 2026, the race takes place during one of the longest days of the year, with sunrise occurring at 6:04 a.m. and sunset at 9:30 p.m. This event serves as the summer installment of a year-round marathon series that includes separate races in the spring, fall, and winter.
The course features a variety of landscapes throughout the city of Boise. Participants travel through canyons and wooded areas, as well as riverside neighborhoods. The route also passes through several local city parks.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All participants receive a finisher's medal. Race production typically includes a race shirt and finisher food and drink. Registration includes a shirt for those who sign up at least two weeks before the race date; individuals who register after this period are not guaranteed a shirt due to sizing and ordering requirements.
