About the race
The Boise Half Marathon takes place in Boise, Idaho on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The in-person race covers 13.1 Miles and uses routes that include the Boise Greenbelt system. The course follows paths near the river; river conditions can be unpredictable and the Greenbelt is subject to issues such as sidewalk construction, sinkholes, and flooding. Runners may encounter wildlife that could delay progress or require a change in the planned route. The course environment also includes natural sounds that some participants may notice.
There is also a virtual option for participants. All registered runners receive a race shirt and a race medal. Registration details for the in-person half marathon include an opening date of November 19, 2025, a closing date of June 1, 2026, and a registration fee of $60. The virtual option opens registration on March 16, 2026, closes on November 14, 2026, and carries a registration fee of $45; proof of completion is not required but is encouraged.
The event location is listed as 700 S Capitol Blvd, Boise, ID 83702, United States. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
