BOFRA - Cowling Community Festival

Cowling Community Festival is a local fell-running event held in Cowling, starting and finishing in the gala field on the Recreation Ground. The seniors and U17 race covers about 2.75 miles with roughly 475 ft of climb. Competitors depart through Cowling’s back lanes, head onto the moor, then target Cowling Pinnacle (Salt Pot/Wainmans Pinnacle) with a brief rock scramble, before crossing the grassy ridge to Sutton Pinnacle (Pepper Pot/Lunds Tower) and returning along the same route to finish in the festival field.
