Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Des Moines
This event takes place at Trestle Trail, 2339 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, Iowa. It offers multiple distance options and both in-person and virtual participation. Registration opened on December 22, 2024 and closing dates vary by event. Registrants who register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day are guaranteed a shirt.
Included items vary by event but commonly include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Several races use chip timing with live results and awards. Free photos are provided and there are treats at the finish line. The half marathon will have pacers.

- 10k 6.2 Miles

- 1 Mile untimed
- Kid's Dash 50 m for ages 10 and under
- Virtual Run run anywhere
- Volunteer then Run volunteer first, then run any distance
The kid's dash is untimed and includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a child-specific medal; children may run without swag for no fee on race day. The virtual entry includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; virtual packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos starting the event day.
