Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k at Trestle Trail, Des Moines
This event takes place on 2026-09-27 at Trestle Trail, 2339 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310. Multiple on-course options and a virtual alternative are offered on the event date.
Race features and services include designer shirts, custom bibs, and finisher medals for most distances. Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5k, 10k and half marathon. Free race photos and finish line treats are available. Pacers will support runners in the half marathon.
Virtual participants may run any day at a location of their choice. Virtual registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, packet shipping, and the mailed packet ships the Wednesday after the race. Virtual runners can upload times and photos after the event.
A youth pricing option is available for the 5k and 10k for ages 12 and under at $17. For the kid's dash, the event is untimed for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a custom kid's dash medal; children may also run the dash without event swag at no cost. A volunteer then run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and then allows them to run a chosen distance.
