Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Milwaukee
The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Milwaukee is a community-focused running event held at Fox River Park in Waukesha. The event features a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, including options for timed competitive runs and untimed recreational activities. The courses are designed through local park areas to minimize community impact while providing a scenic environment for athletes.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon

- 5k
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kid's Dash (untimed, for ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Run
Registered participants for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. The Half Marathon includes pacers to assist runners with their timing goals. All timed events utilize chip-timing with live results available at the registration tent immediately following the finish.
The venue at Fox River Park offers on-site amenities including post-race snacks and free event photos. Age group awards are presented for the timed distances across various categories, including overall winners, masters, and three deep in age brackets ranging from 10 and under to 80 plus.
