Spooky Sprint Indianapolis
Spooky Sprint is an annual Halloween-themed set of races held at White River State Park in Indianapolis on 10/11/2026. The event offers multiple in-person distances, a virtual option, and a volunteer-then-run category.
The event program includes chip timing with live results and awards for timed distances, free event photos, and refreshments at the finish area. Several distances include event apparel and finisher medals: 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon list a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal as part of registration. Youth pricing is noted for the 5K and 10K for ages 12 and under.
The kids dash is an untimed 50 meter dash for children age 10 and under; registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal. Children may run the kid's dash for free without taking the event swag.
The volunteer then run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to help with event operations and then allows them to run any distance of their choice. A virtual race option lets participants complete their distance remotely while still receiving the event swag.
