Time Travel Half-Marathon - Greater Chicago
The Time Travel Half-Marathon takes place on January 3, 2026, at Hammel Woods, Route 59 Access, 554 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404. The event program includes multiple options for participants, including a virtual option. The half marathon course is run as two laps.

Logistics, entries, and awards
On-site packet pickup is available on race day beginning one and a half hours before the race. Registration prices range from $17 to $60; youth pricing for the 5k/10k is $17 for ages 12 and under. Standard race packet items listed include a designer shirt, a custom medal, and a custom or digital bib depending on event type. Chip timing, live results, free photos, and finish-line snacks are provided for timed events.
Age group awards are offered for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon with overall and masters (40+) categories, plus top-three awards across multiple age brackets. The kid’s dash, 1-mile, and virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards. The organizer maintains a no-refund policy; events proceed in most weather and may convert to virtual if the venue requires cancellation.
