Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Houston
The Golden Harvest event in Houston offers a variety of distances for runners and walkers. Participants can choose from several course lengths:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10k (6.2 Miles)
- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (50m)
The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k events are chip-timed and include live results and awards. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed events. For those running the full Half Marathon distance, pacers are available to help manage speed during the race.
All registered participants receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. To ensure receiving a shirt, registration must be completed by the Thursday two weeks before the race. Children aged 12 and under can participate in the 5k or 10k at a reduced youth rate. The Kid's Dash is designed for children ages 10 and under, with a free option available for those who choose not to receive the medal and shirt.
The event also includes free photos for participants and food treats at the finish line. A virtual run option is provided for those unable to attend the physical location in Houston, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance elsewhere and receive their race materials by mail.
