Race features and logistics
The 5k and 12k are chip-timed with live results and have age-group awards, including male and female overall, masters (40+), and top 3 male and female in standard age brackets from 10 & under up to 80+. The 1 Mile, Kids Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards. Registration for 5k/12k includes a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal; 1 Mile and Kids Dash registrations include a bib, shirt, and medal appropriate for the participant. Youth pricing is available for participants 12 and under.
A virtual option ships a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet; mailed packets are scheduled to ship the Wednesday after the race. Packet pickup is available on race day. The organizer follows a no-refund policy and will only cancel for venue requirements or hazardous ice conditions; in the event of cancellation participants will be transferred to the virtual event. Donations of new, unwrapped toys are accepted for Toys for Tots. Volunteers are offered rewards such as free future race entries or a gift card option.
