Event overview
The Candy Cane Course - Grand Rapids is scheduled for December 7, 2025, at Caledonia High School in Caledonia, Michigan. The event offers multiple race options and a virtual race. Registration fees range from $22 to $44. The event proceeds in most weather conditions; the organizer has a no-refund policy and will cancel only for venue requirements or hazardous ice conditions. If the in-person event is canceled, registrations will be transferred to the virtual option.

The 5k and 12k use chip timing with live results and awards. The 1 Mile, Kids Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards.
Registration, swag, and awards
5k and 12k registrations include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile includes a custom bib, shirt, and medal. The Kid’s Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a kid-specific medal; children who opt out of swag may run free on race day. Age-group awards are given for the 5k and 12k, including overall, masters (40+), and top-three places across standard age brackets.
Logistics and virtual option
Packet pickup is available on race day beginning 1.5 hours before the race. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and mailed packet that ships the Wednesday after the race; virtual entries can upload times and photos to the event pages. Course maps for the 5k and 12k and an interactive map are provided. Toys for Tots donations are accepted at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
