Event overview
The Candy Cane Course - Ann Arbor takes place on December 6, 2025 at Island Lake State Park, 13832 Kent Lake Beach Rd, Brighton, MI. The event group includes the following distances:

Entry fees are listed between $22 and $44. Youth pricing is available for ages 12 and under at $17. Packet pickup is available on race day. A $10 park parking fee applies unless a participant has an RSU Annual Pass.
Logistics, timing, and awards
The 5k and 12k use chip timing with live results. The 1 Mile, Kids Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards. 5k/12k registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. 1 Mile registration includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. Kids Dash registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a kids-specific medal; children may participate without SWAG at no charge on race day.
Age-group awards for the 5k and 12k are given for male and female overall, male and female masters (40+), and top three in age brackets from 10 & Under through 80+. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; virtual packets are mailed and ship the Wednesday after the race.
