Hometown Half Marathon and 5k/10k - Greater Atlanta
The Hometown Half Marathon and 5k/10k is a local athletic event held in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual race offers a variety of distances to accommodate different levels of participation. The event includes several programmed distances:

The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k events utilize chip-timing technology. Participants in these categories receive live results and are eligible for awards. Pacers are provided specifically for the Half Marathon distance to assist runners in maintaining their speed. The 1 Mile run and the Kid's Dash are untimed events. The Kid's Dash is designed for participants aged 10 and under; children in this category may participate for free if they do not require event merchandise.
All registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To ensure the availability of a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks prior to the event date. The organizer provides free event photography and serves food at the finish line. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option allows participants to complete their chosen distance independently and receive the event merchandise by mail.
