Empire Runners Club : Bob Shor Summer Track Series (June 9, June 23, July 7)
A three-meet track series held at Windsor High School across June 9, June 23, and July 7. Registration covers all three meets with separate fees for Empire Runners Club (ERC) members, non-members, and youth; kids 7 and under may compete free with a registering adult and a signed consent form at the event. ERC members who preregister online are eligible for free entry; non-members pay a fee, and youth under 18 have a reduced fee. Registration fees are not refundable unless the event is canceled.
Races are timed for participants aged 8 and older. Untimed 100 meter and 200 meter races are offered for children 7 and under; these are non-competitive and times are not recorded. Any child under 8 who wishes to enter an adult race must obtain prior permission from the race director.
Participants receive one bib number to use for all three meets; historical bib numbers will not be reused. Meet staff record and attempt to publish times within about one week, but highly precise personal timing is not guaranteed. The event is volunteer staffed. No strollers or dogs are allowed on the track, and no pets are permitted on school property.
