This event comprises a one-lap 4 mile road race and a separate 1 mile juvenile race held around Grange National School in Fermoy, Co. Cork. The 4 mile course is a single loop that starts 200 m from Grange NS and finishes at the school. A permit for the event is pending approval.

Children aged 7 and older (born between 2011 and 2020) are eligible for the mile race; the minimum age for the 4 mile race is 16 on the day of the race. All children who complete the mile will receive a medal, and prizes are awarded to the first three boys and the first three girls in the juvenile race.

In the 4 mile race, prizes are awarded to the first three men and the first three women. Additional prizes are given to the top two finishers in each age category, starting from juniors and then O35, O40, up to O80. The male and female overall winners receive perpetual cups. Timing for the races is provided by Popup Races.
