The Bob Burke 4 Mile Road Race, 17 July 2026, Cork
The event comprises a four mile road race and a one mile juvenile race held in Cork on 17 July 2026. Online registration runs from 29 May until 17 July, closing at 16:00 on the final day. Timing is provided by POPUP RACES.
- 4 mile road race, minimum age 16 on race day
- 1 mile juvenile race for children born 2010 to 2019
Race numbers are available for collection on the evening of the event from 18:00 onwards at the headquarters, Grange National School, Eircode P61K240. Parking is located opposite the school.
The course is a single-lap loop starting about 200 m from the school and follows local roads including the R512. The route turns at Ballyarthur Cross, Ballinahown Cross and Labbacallee T Junction before returning to finish outside the school.
Prizes are awarded across multiple categories: first three male and female overall; first wheelchair and first visually impaired, male and female; first two junior male and female in U20; and first two in each veteran age category for both sexes in 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80.
