The Bob Burke 4 mile Road Race 2026
The event on 17 July 2026 comprises a four mile road race and a one mile juvenile race held at Grange National School, Fermoy, Co. Cork (Eircode P61K240). The event permit certificate is 25/664.

Online registration is open from 29 May to 17 July. The minimum age for the four mile race is 16 on the day of the race. Children must be born between 2010 and 2019 to take part in the mile race. Timing will be provided by POPUP RACES. Race numbers are available for collection on the evening of the race at the event headquarters, Grange National School. Parking is available opposite the school.
The course is a one lap loop. It starts about 200 metres from Grange National School and follows local roads toward the main R512. Runners pass Ballyarthur Cross after the first mile, Ballinahown Cross after the second, and Labbacallee T junction after the third, before returning on the R512 to finish outside the school.
Prizes for the four mile race include awards for the first three male and first three female finishers; first wheelchair and first visually impaired male and female; first two junior male and female U20; and first two in each specified age category for men and women. Juvenile one mile participants receive medals and prizes for the first three boys and first three girls. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
