About the race
The 2027 BMO Vancouver Marathon is organized by the non-profit RUNVAN® and takes place in Vancouver, BC, Canada on Sunday, May 2, 2027. A pre-race Expo is scheduled for Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1. The event includes an in-person Kids Run and multiple race distances. Distances: - Marathon - Half Marathon - 8 KM - 2.5 KM Kids Run Registration options shown in the event information include a Marathon with event shirt ($165), a Half Marathon with event shirt ($130), and an 8KM with event shirt ($60); a Green bib option reduces the fee by $10.
Prices are subject to taxes and online fees. Elite registration is available via the event organizer. Included with entry are an exclusive tech tee or the option to choose a Green bib instead of a shirt, a finisher medal for all in-person races, and access to a two-day Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo. Results and a leaderboard are provided.
The event features the RUN4HOPE charity program and lists fundraising progress: CA$29,986.15 raised toward a CA$400,000 goal (7% raised). This race is the second event in the 2027 RUNVAN® Grand Slam Series, which requires participation in four RUNVAN® events in the same calendar year to earn the Grand Slam prize.
