Event overview
The Bluffton St. Patrick's Day 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 in Bluffton, South Carolina. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K (open adult event)
- 5K (Kids under 12)
- 400-meter "Chase the Leprechaun" fun run (Kids under 8)
The course starts and finishes at Martin Family Park and runs through Historic Old Town Bluffton and along the May River. The course is partially closed; participants must follow pedestrian traffic laws and officers will staff key intersections. The event is stroller-friendly and dogs are welcome.
Logistics and extras
Place: 68 Boundary Street, Bluffton, SC 29910. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Event fees listed in the organizer text are $35 for the main 5K, $20 for the Kids under 12 5K, and free for the Kids under 8 fun run. Every participant receives a technical T-shirt. Packet pickup is available at Palmetto Running Company on March 13 and at Martin Family Park on race day; participants should bring their confirmation (hardcopy or smartphone). Additional race T-shirts may be available for purchase at packet pickup.
Awards and beneficiary
Awards are given to top male and female overall finishers and to top finishers in these age divisions: under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
