The Swamp Stomp 5K takes place on February 28, 2026, in downtown Port Royal, SC. The event benefits The Complete Student, a school serving grades 5–12. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 1/4 mile kids run
Registration fees listed are $40 for the 5K and $5 for the kids run. Registration closes February 25, 2026. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Grounded Running Beaufort, 2139 Boundry St, suite 108, Beaufort, SC.
Logistics and facilities
The primary event location is Live Oaks Park, 901 14th St, Port Royal, SC 29935. Porta-potties are located at Live Oaks Park (904 14th St). Free parking is available on 14th St and on Paris Ave. There is no gear check; participants are advised to leave personal items in their vehicle. Same-day registration is available.
Awards and post-race activities
Age-division awards are given for male and female finishers in the following divisions: 12 & under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60 & up. Special awards include Canine Companion, Stroller Spirit, Ageless Athlete, and Swamp Rabbit Spirit. All participants receive a finisher award while supplies last. Post-race offerings include local food trucks and a craft show with local artisans and vendors.
