Blueberry Pie 5K and related events
The event on June 27, 2026 takes place in Osterville at 418 Bumps River Road, starting and finishing at the Cape Cod Cooperative School / Cape Cod Challenger Club. The program includes a chip-timed 5K, a 1 Mile run, kids races, multiple wheelchair events, and pie-eating contests for several age divisions.
The course is described as a rolling route through Osterville and has been measured by USA Track & Field but is not officially certified. Distances offered include:

Prizes and competition details are specified by the organizer. Blueberry pies from Centerville Pie Company are awarded to overall and category winners. Overall 5K winners receive a large blueberry pie and a golden "Champ" chain. Wheelchair winners also earn a large blueberry pie. Pie-eating contests are divided by age and gender, use small 6 inch pies, and offer trophies, t-shirts, and a golden CHAMP chain for winners; every pie-eating entrant receives a contest hat and space is limited to ten competitors per division. Additional categories include fastest under 8 year old mile on Cape Cod and fastest team or family. Kids finishers receive ice cream or coupon prizes and organizers award prizes to every 20th finisher up to the 500th finisher.
