Event Overview

The Blue Ribbon Glow Run is a community event held in Trenton, Georgia, to coincide with Child Abuse Prevention Month. Organized by DADE FIRST-Family Connection, the event serves to raise awareness for child abuse prevention and support local families. The gathering is open to individuals of all ages and is designed as a family-friendly activity.

The event features a single distance option:

Course and Participation

The run takes place on the athletic track surrounding the football field at Dade County High School. The environment encourages participants to wear glow-in-the-dark attire. In addition to the run, Kona Ice is available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the organizing foundation’s family-strengthening initiatives.

Registration and Amenities

Attendance is free for all participants. Those who register online before mid-March are eligible to receive a commemorative t-shirt, while supplies last, which must be collected in person on the night of the event. On-site registration is also available for those who miss the online deadline. The organization accepts voluntary donations to help cover the costs of community shirts and ongoing family protection programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
