Blue Ostrich Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The Blue Ostrich Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k is a Thanksgiving themed 5-kilometer run and walk on November 7, 2026, held at Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard in Saint Jo, Texas. The venue was formerly an ostrich breeding and ranching facility in the southwest and still has several ostriches visible on the property. The event highlights the winery landscape and vineyard scenery.
The 5k is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. Registration opens April 13, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Registered participants receive a Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a race bib with chip timing.
