About the race
The Medavie Blue Nose Marathon, called "The People's Marathon", is the largest annual running and walking event in Atlantic Canada. Now in its 24th year, the event is scheduled for May 21 to 23, 2027 and is based at the Emera Oval on Cogswell Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Registration for the event includes the Blue Nose Marathon Expo presented by Subaru, routes described as having views of Halifax and Dartmouth, a participant shirt, a personalized race bib if registered by Wednesday, April 28, 2027, a Blue Nose Marathon medal (or two for double registrations), and chip timing. Registered participants are entered to win a trip for two to the Run Barbados Marathon and Wellness Weekend. Event race options listed on the entry platform include: - Blue Nose Full Marathon - Medavie Half Marathon - Goodlife FITNESS 10KM - Purple Cow 5KM - Double Up registration option - Killam Marathon Team Relay - Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run Kit pick up is scheduled at Zatzman Sportsplex, 110 Wyse Road, Dartmouth on Friday, May 21, 2027 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, May 22, 2027 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
