Hypothermic Half Marathon 2026 - Halifax
The event takes place on February 15, 2026 at Ashburn Golf Club, 3250 Joseph Howe Dr, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It includes in-person races and virtual options available for residents of selected provinces.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km half marathon run or walk
- 10 km run or walk
The event is chip-timed and official results will be posted after the race. In-person registration includes brunch; additional brunch tickets can be purchased during registration.
All participants receive a Hypo Half blanket, a tote bag, and a finishers medal. In-person participants have an opportunity to win a pair of Altra running shoes; two pairs are available at each location. Participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration and nutrition because there will be limited self-serve water stations.
Virtual entries allow selection of the half marathon, 10K, or 5K for residents of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador; virtual results are not tabulated. The Running Room Events Team will host in-person events in select cities in 2026 and also offers the Virtual Hypothermic Half option. Sponsors include Running Room, Altra, and Halifax Tower Hotel.
