Blue Blood Rivalry Run - Durham, NC
The Blue Blood Rivalry Run marks its 10th anniversary as a community 5K event around the streets and paths of C.M. Herndon Park, adjacent to the American Tobacco Trail in Durham, North Carolina. The event on Saturday, March 6, 2027 offers three primary divisions: Run, Walk, and Dribble, plus a "Party Crasher" division for attendees who choose a white and red event shirt instead of the blue team shirts.
Entry includes a team t-shirt of the participant's choice and a Limited Edition Blue Blood Rivalry "Game-Day Bling" medallion. Race-day parking is available at C.M. Herndon Park (511 Scott King Rd, Durham, NC 27713). Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 5, with pick-up hours 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; packet pickup location is to be determined and an address is listed for that pickup.
All registration fees, donations, and sponsorships for this 5K support TROSA, a nonprofit residential treatment program that provides comprehensive, cost-free services including housing, meals, health services, vocational and life-skills training, mentorship, and counseling. A virtual race option is also offered; virtual participants receive a t-shirt and medallion and may complete the run remotely on a timeline that suits them.
