Blue Bell Fun Run
The Blue Bell Fun Run is a community road race in Brenham with multiple distance options and a focus on supporting youth programs. The event is scheduled for APRIL 3, 2027, and is organized by Run For The Youth of Washington County to foster physical health and character in local youth.
Courses are officially measured and USATF certified, which allows participants to compete on standard, certified routes. Distances offered include:

Local student athletes provide volunteer support during the event; Brenham High School athletes are among those who serve as volunteers. The event offers amenities for participants such as a commemorative participation medal for finishers and an official event T-shirt. Blue Bell ice cream treats are available at the finish line.
Logistics include a park-and-ride arrangement intended to simplify transportation to and from the race. The run has roots dating back to 1978 when it began to benefit the Brenham High School athletic program.
