Blue Bell Fun Run
The Blue Bell Fun Run is a community road race in Brenham organized by Run for the Youth of Washington County. The event traces its origin to 1978, when it began to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic program, and now serves a broader community role by supporting the physical health and character development of youth in Washington County.
Courses are USATF certified and officially measured, allowing results to count for qualification at other events. The run program includes distances for families and competitive runners alike, with offered events listed below.

- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 mile)
Brenham High School athletes serve as student volunteer support along the course. Race-day logistics include a park and ride option to simplify transportation to and from the event. Every finisher receives a commemorative participation medal and an event T-shirt. Blue Bell Ice Cream treats are provided at the finish for participants to enjoy after the run.
