Blind Corner I Go Brewing Run : 5k Fun Run
This event is a community 5k fun run hosted at Blind Corner Brewery and Go Brewing in Naperville, Illinois. The course is untimed and open to walkers and joggers; roads remain open and participants must follow traffic laws. Routes are clearly marked and are designed to start and end at the brewery taproom.
Registration includes one craft beverage at the finish with a choice of an alcoholic Blind Corner beer or a nonalcoholic Go Brewing beer. Participants also receive a Brewery Running Series swag item choice such as a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item, and entry into a prize drawing for merchandise and beer. Post-run activities include music, games, giveaways, and partner items.
Event policies note that a valid ID is required to receive alcoholic beverages; attendees under 21 are eligible for a nonalcoholic beverage. The event operates rain or shine, with organizers indicating that gatherings for beers will proceed if running is unsafe. There is no bag check. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care. A portion of proceeds supports local nonprofits; the organizer reports that 10% of event proceeds will go to local nonprofit partners and that the Brewery Running Series has donated over $700,000 to local organizations overall.
