Bleaklow Blitz
Bleaklow Blitz is scheduled for 26 April 2026 and is organised by Start2Jog Running Club. The event is listed as an AM category fell race with a stated location around Torside, including a named car park in the area.
The race distance is given as 12.9 km (approximately 8 miles) and the total climb is 452 m (about 1,483 ft). The published route starts near Torside Reservoir, follows the Pennine Way up to Bleaklow Head, includes a loop at the summit area, and then returns via the Pennine Way.
Entries opened on 28 November 2025 and closed on 19 April 2026. The minimum age for entry is 18 on the event date. Entry fees are listed as £8.00 for FRA members and £9.00 for non members.
