Bleaklow Blitz

The Bleaklow Blitz is a fell race taking place on Sunday 26th April 2026.

The race is classified as Category AM. The course starts at Torside Car Park and follows the Pennine Way up to Bleaklow Head. Racers complete a loop before returning down the Pennine Way. The route is 12.9 km (8 miles) long with a total climb of 452 m (1483 ft).

Event records are held by Joe Oldfield (male, 01:00:40 in 2022) and Kate Walshaw (female, 01:10:46 in 2025).
