This is the 3rd annual running of the event. Organizers state the event raises awareness and support for autism. Last year’s race committee donated funds to the Texoma Swim Foundation; those funds provided summer scholarships for children and supported swim lessons for 10 autistic children, and funded angelfish training for a COTA.
