Blaze of Glory 5K

Blaze of Glory 5K is a community road race held on March 21, 2026 at the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania. The event is presented as part of the Bucks 5K Series and includes multiple running and walking options.

For the 19th consecutive year the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company hosts the event as its largest annual fundraiser. Fire tax revenue covers 48 percent of the department's income, with fundraisers providing the remaining 52 percent. All proceeds from the race benefit the volunteer fire company, which has served the area for 94 years and responds to about 325 emergency calls each year across parts of Plumstead and Bedminster Townships.

The 2026 route is a new out and back course using Meetinghouse Road to Curly Hill Road, arranged to keep access to the firehouse available before, during, and after the event. Meetinghouse Road will be closed for the event period while Stump Road and access to the firehouse will remain open. Overflow parking is available at the Giant Shopping Center and the Plumsteadville Inn.

The event program includes a timed 5K, a revised and extended untimed 3.1 mile walk, and a returning color 1 mile fun run aimed at children and spectators. Registration options include individual, walk, fun run, and team or family entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
