The Blarney Stone Mad Half Marathon is a running event held in Blarney, Ireland. The course starts and finishes at the Blarney GAA Club.
Course and Schedule
The race is a half marathon (21.1 km) with a course that begins in Blarney Village. It proceeds along Waterloo Road for an out-and-back section towards Rathduff Cross, offering views of the River Martin valley. The route returns to the village and finishes back at the Blarney GAA Clubhouse.
The event has a 3-hour time limit for all participants. The minimum age requirement on race day is 18.
Participation Details
All finishers receive a medal and a mug. A race t-shirt is available for an additional cost. The event uses chip timing and has an official Athletics Ireland race license. Prizes are awarded for overall winners and various age categories.
