About the race
The Blarney Stone Mad Half Marathon is a certified half marathon held in Blarney, taking participants through Blarney Village and surrounding roads. The course is officially measured, chip-timed and covered by an Athletics Ireland race licence; permit number 26/458 is noted.
The route starts and finishes at Blarney GAA Club and runs through the heart of Blarney Village before continuing along Waterloo Road for an out-and-back section toward the Rathduff Cross turn-point, with views of the River Martin valley. After returning to the village the course proceeds past Blarney Secondary School and finishes at the Blarney GAA Clubhouse.

- 3 hour completion limit; entrants must be capable of finishing within 3 hours
- Minimum age on race day is 18
- Entry fee €40 plus registration fee; entries are non-refundable but transferable from 7th to 20th February
- All finishers receive a medal and a mug; T-shirt available at extra cost
- Prizes awarded to overall winners and age categories
- A race briefing with practical information (parking, race numbers, etc.) will be provided to registered athletes
