Blarney Stone Mad Half Marathon 2026
The event is a half marathon held in Blarney on 1 March 2026, with start and finish at Blarney GAA Club. The permit for the race has been approved, certificate number 25/352. The course passes through the centre of Blarney Village, continues along Waterloo Road for an out-and-back section to the Rathduff Cross turn point, and offers views of the River Martin valley before returning to the village and finishing at Blarney GAA Clubhouse via a route past Blarney Secondary School.
Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day and able to complete the course in under three hours. The entry fee is €40 plus a registration fee. Entries are non refundable but are transferable until 15/02/2026. The course is officially measured, uses chip timing, and holds an Athletics Ireland race licence.
All registered participants receive a finisher medal and a mug; a race T shirt is available for an additional cost. Prizes are awarded to overall winners and across age categories. A race briefing with practical information such as parking and race numbers will be sent to registered athletes. At the time of the event listing, online entries for the half marathon were sold out.
