Blanding Firecracker 4th of July 5K
The Blanding Firecracker 4th of July 5K is a community road race hosted by the San Juan High School Cross Country Team at Centennial Park, 150 West 1200 South, Blanding, UT 84511. One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit the high school cross country program. Past editions of the event are recorded for multiple years.
Event distance options include:
- 5K road race
- 5K walking option (register under the walking category)
- 1-mile fun run
Packet pickup takes place on July 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the lawn east of the Wellness Center at 1013 South 300 West. Participants may have someone else collect their packet.
Walkers are asked to start earlier than runners so everyone finishes before the prize drawing and awards. Walkers are not eligible for age group awards but are eligible for door prizes once they complete the 5K. Door prizes and award eligibility apply only to participants who complete the 5K distance; the 1-mile fun run does not qualify for door prizes.
